Tuck the foot edge under the mattress from corner to corner. Pull one long edge onto the mattress to make a folded edge of 45- degree angle from the corner to make a hospital corner, the neater and more wrinkle-free, the better. Pick up the side edge at the bottom and hold it out. Tuck in what is left hanging down at the corner. Tuck in any part of the sheet that is hanging below the mattress. Repeat for the other corner bottom. Note also that a sheet and a blanket are folded together into a hospital corner.

Making hospital corner is a very neat way to tuck the sheets under the mattress at the foot of the bed. Anyone who works in a hospital, or joins the army usually has to learn how to make hospital corners. It is not easy to do without instructions.

To continue making the bed, put the best lightweight down blanket over the top sheet. Place it with right side up about 8 inches from the top of the sheet. Tuck in the bottom edge and make hospital corner. Fold in the top sheet over the top of the down filled blanket. We can see that the right side of the top sheet is showing. Tuck in the entire sides if you wish to keep the covers tight.

Finally, spread the down comforter or duvet over the bed. Smooth it with your hands, removing creases or wrinkles. Decorate your bed with pillows and euro shams.

The number of bedclothes layers to make the bed depend upon the climate. In hot temperatures, you can remove other layers to keep your bed cozy and comfortably warm.

How to Clean Memory Foam

Cleaning a memory foam mattresses is not as hard as you would expect. Because the foam is so dense, soaking it is not recommended; drying the inner layers of your mattress is too difficult, and though the material is hypo-allergenic and anti-microbial you risk mold spores deep inside of the inner layers. If you soak your mattress you should expect it to take days, even weeks, to dry fully unless you have an industrial cleaner. This is far from ideal for most people, so surface cleaning is recommended. For a quick, easy, fresh clean, try this method of surface cleaning. It only takes a few hours, and most of times is spent waiting, so you can get other chores done around the house while you clean your mattress.

To clean your memory foam mattress, you will need only a few items.

Baking Powder
Vacuum
Spray bottle filled with water and dish soap (2/3, 1/3) [Add Woolite for exceptionally dark stains]
2 Towels or wash cloths

1. Sprinkle your baking powder over the whole mattress or mattress topper and let it sit for 30 minutes. Then vacuum it up. The powder will leave the memory foam mattress with a fresh smell, and vacuuming will also remove dust, hair, and anything else that may have made its way onto your mattress.

2. Locate the stains and spray them with the soap mixture. Rub the stain in a circular motion with a damp wash cloth. If the spot doesn't disappear with soap, add Woolite and spray and rub once more. Once you've gotten all the spots, spray them with water and use a dry towel to blot up the remaining soap and water.

3. Dry your mattress with a fan, hair dryer, or by putting it in a sunny dry place. It is a good idea to clean your mattress at least once every few years, more often for mattress toppers. Keeping your mattress clean of stains that could break down the material can add years of life back. To protect your investment consider getting a slip cover for your memory foam mattress or mattress topper so that it doesn't get stained in the first place.

Partyrama - Partyrama Review

Hi I decided to do a review on partyrama for people who are unsure about buying off the site. I will explain what partyrama is, what they sell and how good I thought the website/service was.

Firstly partyrama sell party supplies and themes etc. When I first used the partyrama website there was a range of themes etc to choose from, such as vegas themes, pirates of the caribbean themes, sparklers, costumes and personalized banners. You really have to look on the partyrama website to see how much there is. They also include a party checklist on their site which I actually used and found helpful.

I first used the partyrama website for valentines day party themes. I was looking for the personalized banners and balloons so gave partyrama a go. Customizing balloons and banners was a lot easier than i thought it would be. You just select the balloon or banner you want in the personalize section on the partyrama website and then you select what colours etc you want. The only problem that I could see with the customization was that there isn't much choice of fonts and styles. Once you have selected the fonts etc and typed your message, a preview of the banner is displayed so you know what it will look like.

I am skeptical of buying on the internet but partyrama uses 128 bit SSL security and they have had millions of customers so I decided to go ahead and order. My order was dispatched from partyrama on the same day which was pretty quick from ordering it late morning. Cost of delivery was maybe a let down but it isn't expensive. I ordered on Monday and the party accessories arrived on Friday. I didn't get the personalized decorations until next Monday which was 7days. so the delivery wasn't bad either. As for the condition of anything that I have ordered of partyrama, I haven't any problems and the quality is good so far. Overall I was very happy with the partyrama service and the decorations look great. partyrama is a great website that I highly recommend for anyone looking to have any type of party small or large. There are pics in the link below if anyone is interested in looking at them.
